Who we are
This website, https://hochacool.com, is run by HochaCool LLC, a heating and air conditioning company at 1607 S Park Drive, Broken Bow, OK 74728. You can reach us at eric@hochacool.com or 580-612-2665. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us when you contact us or request service, whether through our website forms, by phone, by email, or through your property management company. This can include your name, email address, phone or mobile number, property name and address, and details about the service you need.
If you leave a comment on one of our articles, WordPress stores the name, email address and comment you enter, along with your IP address and browser information.
How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, set up through the Google Site Kit plugin, to see how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Other than that, the site uses only the cookies WordPress needs to work: if you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name and email in your browser, and staff who log in to the site get login cookies.
Content from other websites
Some pages show content from other websites, such as our online booking form, which is provided by our scheduling software provider, and our Google reviews. That content works as if you visited the other website directly, and those sites may collect information about you under their own privacy policies.
Website chat assistant
Our website has a chat assistant, the HochaCool Helper, that answers basic heating and cooling questions and can help you request service. It is powered by an AI service, xAI’s Grok. What you type in the chat is sent to xAI to generate the replies (see xAI’s privacy policy). Door, gate, lockbox and other access codes are removed before anything is sent, but please don’t share codes or other sensitive information in the chat.
We don’t store chat transcripts. We keep only daily counts, such as how many chat messages and requests there were, to manage usage and cost. To prevent abuse, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent.
If you send a service request through the chat, the details you submit go to HochaCool’s service system so we can schedule your visit, the same as our online request form. Access notes you type in the private box on the request form go only to our office and your technician, not to the AI service. Text messages follow the same consent rules described below and in our Text Message Terms: we text you only if you check the consent box.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number when you request service, we use it to send transactional text messages about that service, such as visit status updates, links to service reports, and quote or parts follow-ups. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from any other information sharing described in this policy. We share your mobile number only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only so they can deliver them.

Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host and our scheduling, email and text message providers, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep information
We keep service and billing records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax and legal requirements. Comments stay on the site until they are removed.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing eric@hochacool.com. We may need to keep some records for legal or tax reasons. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
